Today’s Afghanistan Conciliation Trust (TACT) is an impartial not for profit national NGO/CSO which is free from linguistic, ethnic, tribal, religious and political affiliations and prejudices. TACT was founded in 2010 by a group of professional and intellectual Afghans who devoted most of their time in serving the Afghan people in the contexts of education, healthcare and humanitarian assistance in the country.

TACT with funding from UNESCO Afghanistan is to implement Youth and Adult Literacy and Basic Education (YALBE) for youth and adults in four districts of Nuristan province. Therefore, the organization is seeking for qualified and dedicated employee to be a part of the staff team in the implementation of this project.

1. To build a close coordination and communication with project beneficiaries including women and girls.
2. To contribute in community and project selection, beneficiaries’ identification.
3. Mobilizing the targeted beneficiaries for the smooth implementation of project.
4. Support the project to generate qualitative and quantitative data of project progress and submit to the manager on monthly basis.
5. Conducting meeting with the community elders and females headed including projects beneficiaries.
6. Monitor, supervise, and provide on the job trainings to the literacy facilitators in waygal district.

1. Prepare regular monthly and biweekly project progress, and monitoring reports using the online and offline tools.
2. Attend in the training and orientation sessions.
3. Provide trainings to the Village Literacy Committees and awareness sessions to the community members.
4. Assisting in preparing monthly plan and report each month.
5. Assisting in preparing case studies during each month.

1. Having close coordination with local government, community and stakeholders.
2. Any other task assigned by the line Manager.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in relevant field
• Have valid Bachelor’s in social sciences, or any other relevant field
• Having good communication skills
• Having experience at the pressure working environment
• Be a resident of the Waygal district of Nuristan province.
• Having well and enough knowledge and experience of Ms. Office
