HealthNet TPO in Afghanistan aims to improve the health status of the people in Afghanistan by supporting the local communities and the Government of Afghanistan in the development of a sustainable health care system.  HealthNet TPO is working in Afghanistan since 1994, implementing integrated health projects managed mainly by national staff and supported technically by expatriate staff from the headquarter office. HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is providing Primary Health Care, Mental Health and psychosocial services, fighting malaria and supporting Mother & Child Health Care in terms of providing training for Community Midwifes and to conduct operation research. Health Net TPO is currently implementing projects in 22 provinces and the major program it implements are Malaria Control program,SEHATMANDI projects in four provinces, nutrition,  Mental Health and Psychosocial program through a community system strengthening approach.

• Attend the required ToT sessions and arrange training material in both national languages.
• Giving high quality and participatory trainings on provincial and districts level.
• Prepare action plans for each district in view of the detailed provincial training plan
• Maintain coordination with Project Manager,  provincial technical officer and the provincial Admin/Finance officer for logistical arrangements.
• Preparing trainees attendance sheet and perdium/transportation payments documents.

• Collecting precise data to enter in training data base.
• Provide complete document for financé department and Data Entry Officer.
• Coordination of training with BPHS/EPHS implementer, PPHD, DoE, DHO, Community and other stakeholders.
• Providing proper supportive documents for every training batch like: attendance, payments sheets, trainees’ phone numbers, photos, approval of relevant parties.
• Deliver IPCC/BCC specific on immunization training sessions to both frontline health workers and school teachers at the district level.

• Coordinate with district authorities (DH or CHC in-charge in district center and the MoEd District Unit) for provision of overnight accommodation facilities and security instructions
• Assign administrative and other training-related tasks to the provincial Admin/Finance officer as required by the project.
• Review monthly planning and activities and prepare strategies for unachieved targets
• Sharing and coordinating trainees list with relevant PPHD, BPHS, EPHS and Education department.
• Prepare and develop training curriculum and materials including PowerPoint presentations, attendance sheets, training agendas, and other relevant handouts to the project training participants.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and any other report required for the project.
• Perform any other relevant task as assigned by the supervisor.

• Having MD or Nursing degree from recognized medical faculty (MD  is preferable)
• At least 4 years’ full time experience of working in training or community based projects.

• To be fluent in writing and speaking Pashto, Dari and English languages.
• Ability to work on computer office program and know regard data base maintenance.
• Ability to work long hours, often under pressure
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel to the all target provinces and districts.
